Today, they are making another cancer survivor’s wish come true. Jackson, a little football fan, met the Kansas City Chiefs players and coach Andy Reid at their training camp on Wednesday. He was dealing with an aggressive cancer that required severe treatment. However, now as Jackson and his little friends defeated the deadly disease, they met their favorite players to make their wish come true. According to the Chiefs’ official Twitter page, “The guys got to spend some time with Make-A-Wish kiddo Jackson yesterday who, after 7 rounds of aggressive treatment, just recently got to say he is officially cancer-free!” In the video, Mahomes could be first seen heading toward Jackson, asking, “Hey! How you doing man?” before shaking hands with the little boy. So, it’s quite obvious they were all Travis Kelce fans waiting eagerly to meet the TE. Thus, shortly after, Kelce too joined Mahomes in greeting the kids. And guess what? He was happy to see the kids donning no. 87, acknowledging the same with a wide grin on his face. Besides it, the quarterback pointed towards one of the little girls who wore an “87” jersey but with a twist. Her t-shirt was printed with “Taylor’s Boyfriend.” The other players also joined the two athletes for a photo session, and many of them signed the kids’ jerseys. Andy Reid, on the other hand, made one of the children wear two caps simultaneously in a humorous way. Reid made him wear one cap forward and one cap backward, then joked that “wear like this, then they don’t know u coming or going.” Hilarious! This isn’t the first time Mahomes and Kelce have spent time with a make-a-wish fan, though. Last year, in October, their meet-up with a 12-year-old went viral. And it’s quite a blissful thing to see! Diagnosed with heart disease and pulmonary stenosis, Myka Eilers underwent two open heart surgeries to overcome the health battle. As a devoted fan of Mahomes, she got a chance to meet the Chiefs duo power via ESPN’s “My Wish” series. And their meetup was special! Kelce was also seen encouraging and guiding her in the video. After throwing passes, all sat and watched the Chiefs’ 2021 AFC Divisional touchdown pass. Not only that, the girl also received a personalized Chiefs jersey at the Arrowhead practice field.
